The artist began his path to art in pencil drawings and mastered this technique, which he utilizes to this day. Among the initial drawings worthy of mention: Doing his homework, Our neighbour Julia, Baby in a carriage, My school bag and many others. Of all the drawings from this early 1960’s period, 43 drawings remain in the artist’s collection including the last drawing titled Big Heart restaurant, Bratislava.
